” Permaculture is a set of design principles centered on whole systems thinking, simulating, or directly utilizing the patterns and resilient features observed in natural ecosystems. It uses these principles in a growing number of fields from regenerative agriculture, rewilding, and community resilience. ” Thank you, wikipedia… we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
Ethics of Permaculture
We must ensure that all life systems can continue and multiply. This is the first principle, because without a healthy earth, we cannot flourish.
All people must be able to access those resources necessary for their existence.
By governing our own needs, we can set resources aside to further the other 2 principles. Each of us should take no more than what we need before we reinvest the surplus.
